My family members and I transferred to the USA in 2014 We selected Memphis as our 2nd home to start fresh and build a far better future.
When I finished secondary school in 2020, I chose to sign up with the Military Book so I might function full time to help sustain my household monetarily. In the process, my parents constantly advised me of the significance of an university degree. Truthfully, I dealt with the decision in between selecting work over school.
That changed when I uncovered the University of Memphis Global (UofM Global) where I could earn my level 100 % online from an approved, country wide identified Carnegie R 1 university. The adaptability of the program made it possible to stabilize work, life, and education and learning. When I registered, I recognized I made the right option.
As an on the internet pupil, I remained involved with university life via profession fairs and joining pupil companies like the Society of Personnel Administration. I intended to get the most out of my college experience and connect with people that shared my interest for HR.
Last November, I deployed to Kuwait, with a month left of autumn term. Thanks to the support and framework of UofM Worldwide, I was able to complete strong, also making the Dean’s List. I’m taking 4 courses while offering on active duty, and I’m proud to say I’ll be graduating in May.
Being able to offer my country, sustain my family members, and gain my level indicates the world to me. I feel all set to take on whatever comes next.
